Description:
To provide help for children identified as abused (sexually or physically), neglected or abandoned. Responsible for the investigation of allegations of abuse or neglect. A plan of action is made to ensure the safety of the children by family counseling or alternative placement. This office also licenses private homes for daycare of children, and does adoption home studies.
