Youth as Resources (YAR)
Description:
Youth development program. Provides small grants to Hancock County youth groups for youth-directed volunteer service projects addressing Hancock County needs. Grant funds ($1,000 max) used for supplies, materials, transportation, etc., for youth to implement volunteer activities. Youth group must have school or non-profit sponsoring organization. Administered by Hancock County YAR youth/adult advisory board.
