Red Cross provides service to military families and disaster assistance on a 24-hour basis. The Hancock County Branch offers health and safety education including First Aid, CPR, water safety and HIV/AIDS. Community services include a transportation program, Christmas toy program, and infant safety seat rental. The local Red Cross is a contact point for the Hancock County Food Pantry. Information and referral, including VISION USA (Free eye exams for qualifying residents).
