Description:
Investigates reports of all forms of abuse or exploitation and assists in obtaining protection services for an "endangered adult"--an individual who is at least 18 years old and who: 1) is incapable by reason of insanity, mental illness, mental disability, senility, habitual drunkenness, excessive use of drugs, old age, infirmity, or other incapacity of either managing the individual's property, or providing self-care, or both; 2) is harmed or threatened with harm as a result of neglect, battery; or 3) exploitation of the individual's personal services, or property.
