The Arc provides programming opportunities to all citizens with disabilities realizing their goals of learning, living, working, and playing out in our community. Promotes advocacy and awareness for citizens with mental retardation and developmental disabilities, their families and caregivers. Produces the "Dream Makers", a theatrical group of citizens with disabilities. Educates and informs the community regarding steps to prevent mental retardation and developmental disabilities. The Arc strives to ensure that every citizen has a chance and an equal opportunity. The Arc of Hancock County is a member of The Arc of Indiana and United States. The Arc is dedicated to human rights, personal dignity and community participation.
